The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
